ID this Jimmy Olsen story!

-
I have some VERY vague memories of a particular Jimmy Olsen story that I read as a very small child. It was likely a reprint in an early '70s 100-page giant. I don't remember what the overall plot was but these are the points I remember:

1) Jimmy finds a man poisoned by cyanide, and he comments on its almond smell
2) Jimmy takes (IIRC) a train ride through the Hanging Gardens of Babylon
3) Jimmy MAY have been locked in prison during a storm, but it's entirely possible that that was young Clark in a Superboy story reprinted in the same issue.

Not much to go on, but it's been bugging me for years. TIA for any help!

It sounds somewhat like a story I remember in which Jimmy finds a dead spy and takes over his mission. I think it was a SUPERMAN FAMILY giant issue.

I think you're right; primarily because I remember reading "Superbaby Captures the Pumpkin Gang!"
