Question on comic publishers.

I suspect that only Mr. Byrne and a few others could answer this question for me, so here goes. What are some good comic publishers that are open to to characters and ideas? In other words, where would I, someone who has never been published in any manner, have even the slightest chance at success, given that my skills in both writing and penciling are good enough?

Also, there used to be a link to something called Naked Comics (or something like that) at the top of this forum, does anyone have the link to that any longer?

Good folks over there and a great place to break in.
Contact Ed Dukeshire and send him some samples of your work.

Good luck!

I've always heard that Dark Horse accepts submissions. I also ran into this site: http://platinumstudios.com/index.php
