JB,
I was looking through the DC STAR TREK WHO'S WHO, when I came across your work on Kahn. You also did the background art for Mr. Spock. The likenesses are dead on.
Have you ever been approached or have any interest in doing a Star Trek or even a Star Wars story?
Kyle Baker had a hilarious strip named "Petty and Vindictive Comics" in the early 90s National Lampoon.
In one strip he talked about his experience in illustrating the Dick Tracy movie adaption and the host of issues he had to deal with, especially regarding Warren Beatty.
There was a hilarious bit about how Warren Beatty complained about how he was facing in the comic. Why? Because it was his "bad side". He was ok when they flipped the art so he was facing the opposite direction!

Could that possibly be true??? Wow. Regardless, that little anecdote would ironically make a great scene to demonstrate the narcissism of a star in a real movie. (filing away in back of brain...)
One of Beatty's old girlfriends (I can't remember who) revealed once that she woke up in the middle of the night and saw him standing half-naked in front of his mirror, staring at and studying himself. She watched him do it for a while. Soon, she discovered that this was far from being a one-time-only incident, and started coming to the conclusion that maybe he wasn't the guy for her.
BTW, I thought JB's entries in the WHO'S WHO IN STAR TREK series (he did Khan and Harry Mudd) were probably the best of the whole project, followed by Gray Morrow and Ron Frenz.
