I've seen worse candidates.

He just has to quit being so whiny on the show. Once he starts to talk like a man he'll come across as Superman.

In the 2nd pic, you can see Superman's... area. Maybe they could get tips from Derek Smalls on the proper pants-stuffing technique.

Since the first season of SMALLVILLE, I have championed Welling as the best candidate for a Superman movie. He may need to bulk up, but he has the looks and the poise for it to work. And considering how hard it has been to find a "name" actor to play the part, taking the guy already associated with Clark Kent seems like a no-brainer.

I think they should graduate the whole cast, and introduce the Daily Planet staff in the movie.

Those drawings.....is that the Nu-Marvel MAX-line superhero "Homoerotic-Man"?

Despite those drawings, I think if Tom Welling put some bass in his voice and added some muscle he would be great as Superman.

I wonder if Smallville is still doing well in the ratings.

What did you all think about the Jeph Loeb written episode featuring Chrisopher Reeve?
