Question for JB

Many years ago, I believe at a Chicago Convention, you
were on a panel answering questions, and someone asked
a question about Wolverine's claws, and how, when extended,
they sometimes appeared to be longer than the forearm they'd
just popped from.

My recollection is that your reply was a comparison between
the length of Logan's forearm, and your artistic license,
which is even longer.

So yesterday I picked up the new Previews, which features
the cover of the 1st issue of the Doom Patrol.

And it strikes me. Can Robotman raise his hands over his head?
Is there some element in his shoulder design that makes those
shoulder caps more flexible or adaptable than they appear on the
face of it?

Or is it just artistic license?
