Hey JB,
Have you read any Robertson Davies? If so, what did you think of it?

I actually just finished the Salterton trilogy about a month ago. The man had an astonishly compelling narrative style. The events, characters and settings in all three novels are not things I would ordinarily expect to care about, but Davies' unique voice kept me engaged through all nine hundred paged. Brilliant stuff.
Is Davies taught in Canadian high schools?

Murther & Walking Spirits was a great read. It was one of his last novels.
The story is a wee bit sci-fi actually, as the narrator is dead, and the story commences immediately following his murder.
Davies was one of our natural treasures. I actually just fount his obit from Time Magazine that I had kept way back in '95.

LOL... that's the one book of his I didn't like! I was so happy he got another one out (the fantastic Cunning Man) before he passed on.
