In the trailers before Man on Fire last night, there was one for something I hadn't seen before that is coming this June.

Well, my computer set-up is apparently too primitive to watch this trailer, but I did see "Pitch Black," a really fine science-fiction movie that starred the yet-to-be-famous Vin Deisel as Riddick, the murderer and ex-con who becomes the hero of the story. It was a really intelligently done, enjoyable movie, and I'm happy to see that someone's decided to do more with the character.(Unless, of course, they screw around with it until it sucks.)

There was talk of there being a trilogy of movies featuring Riddick. With the way they have been down playing Vin's role in this one, I wonder if that's still happening. I guess it will dpend on how well this one does at the box office.
