Since JB is away the fan boys will play-
I thought I would share a funny cover to a magazine I got in the mail today:

I do so hoping for justa laugh and not some meaningless political discussion we usually have-
let's face it- nobody ever listens or wins on either side-
so sit back, have a laugh and enjoy

If we ignore the question of blame, yeah, we can all agree. Gas costs too much. I say that having driven 600 miles this weekend to go see Mom & Dad.

Funny stuff. Thanks, Dwayne!

Yep see the "taxes bad" for examples of why we all should not talk politics!
And notice my not joining in there!
I may very well finally be getting smarter..
there may be hope for me yet.
Probably not...

Funny. my Brother gives me his copies of New American. It's one of my favorite periodicals. A few months ago they had a big story on environmentalism..that was a great issue-one of the best issues of any mag I've ever read.

Well sure, but, isn't it like, only a half tank from one end of that island to the other?

I waiting for the idiots to wake up and realize how much they are paying for bottled water. It wasn't that long ago when water was free and air for your tires was free.

Converting for us metrically challenged Americans

"we're paying 75 pence (1.32 usd) per litre"

and since 1 gallon = 3.785 litres, that means gas costs about $5 per gallon over there. Ouch.

Yep it's true, we are but a small island. Lands End to John O'Groats is a whopping 850 miles...

Air is free where I live. Even the kind you put in your tires. And use of some gas (petrol) station's air compressors is also free.
