Honestly, I find the only way I can loose weight is when I take my mind off food/exercise and the scale and focus on other things...usually stressful times is exactly that!
I'm sure you will loose even more after you start your job. I lost about 10 lbs last time I went back to work(no more nibbling my way through the day).
When do you start? Are you still going to train for the half marathon?
