I want to thank Odd Todd for giving all of us fans the opportunity to create something cool for his "Laid Off" universe. It was a lot of fun designing the crest and indeed a honor to compete with many talented artists.

I designed the crest in mind as a family crest look. I envisioned the SSUP as a family of unemployed people rising up against the Corporate World and raise a fist into the air and say "WE WILL SURVIVE, DAMN YOU!!!" (sorry, I get overdramatic sometimes....)

Anyway, I thought a more classic look to the crest would look good mixed with the Todd-istic cartoon style. Thank you to those who have voted for my design and I wish all artists the best of luck!

I liked your crest a lot; it was very professionally done and I am a hopelessly symmetrical person. Only thing I didn't like was the absence of Elf Up! I looked really carefully but couldn't find him. Oh well. That doesn't seem to have deterred anyone else from voting for you. And I seem to have a weird sense of humor. Only 1% of the people who voted (probably me) voted for my favorite, so don't worry that yours was only one of my second favorites. Thanks for making the crest. It provided much viewing enjoyment.
