HONDA designed the integra to handle, the wheels are half weight, the suspension setup from factory is almost perfect.
(THO FURRYDICERS MAY THINK IT NEEDS BIG WHEELS IT WILL NEVER EVER HANDLE AS WELL)
IF U MUST! BE AWARE ROLLING CIRCUMFERANCE MUST BE THAT OF ORIGINAL WHEELS OR THE GEARING CHANGES......
HEAVIER WHEELS MAKE FOR WORSE HANDLING AND MORE WEIGHT MAKE THE CAR HANDLE WORSE ON B ROADS
In reply to your concern about our descecration of our Integras. We put a great deal of thought in to modifying our cars and have actually improved the performance of this wonderful car. Regarding the wheels, the 17" Superleggeras are actually lighter than the original wheels and there is no deterioration in the performance, cornering ,breaking , acceleration. With the lowered suspension we changed the springs only and this has added to the greater stability of the car. Regarding the exhausts we have noticed a slight increase throughout the range and are now considering decat.
We know this to be fact, we modified one car first and could compare them. We also improved the look of the car, it sits better looks beefier and sounds amazing.

I think it's quite sad that you went to the trouble of weighing the wheels before you put them on. That indicates to me that the pair of you have far too much time on your hands. Do you race each other? That amuses me. Anyway i've got to go now and weigh some wheels, no rest for the wicked.
I just bought an Integra GSi and i want to upgrade its wheels to 17". It currently has 14" and they look ridiculous. Just wanted some feed back on how the car handles this and what wiil be the best specs for a bigger wheel. Thanks
Make sure you lower the car before you put 17 inch wheels on. I'm unsure of the GSI Integra, but you will find if it is lowered it will increase the road holding and performance.
