I think most members just want to have a good time and a chance to give their opinion about contests or whatever. Maybe, in spite of what I've thought in the past, contests would be a good place for this. The newsletter would be the place ot announce dates.
Seems the people at the Handcarvers thing we go to in the Puyallup don't want us back unless we pay.... seems they think we are a messy bunch. And had a problem with the dumpster full of scraps that they had to pay to dispose of, and I guess they don't think we're a draw for them.... hmmmm.
Would be nice to have a few ideas of where to have this meeting at... I'm working on the Sept/Oct issue of the newsletter right now, so the time would be right to pick a place, make reservations, etc., al.
