First a huge thanks to Jamie and Lisa for hosting this event!
This was the 3rd year they've opened their hearts and home to a group of carvers
who are just gettin' together for fun.
Some of the folks I knew from years past-made a bunch of new friends this year as well.
I learned alot and had a blast doing it!
Here's a few pix...
Here's Bess (Freeman) Coy working on her horse.
For those that haven't met Bess-she is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met.
Bess teaches art and she exudes creativity-I like to just stand and bask in her aura!
She was really helpful to me this year and last. Love ya girl!!!!
Next one is Bess' husband Tracy.
He's working on a slotted chair. He's always maintained that he's not a carver.
Guess what!?! He can't say that anymore!!!!
Here's Amy Feil holding her beer mug.
What a hoot!!!!
Enjoyed meeting you Amy! She also brought her husband Lou and their dogs Harley and Honey.
I still think I should've kidnapped the puppies!!!!!!!!!!
This one is Michael from Germany.
He is a carvin' machine!!!!!!!!!!!
Very talented-very nice guy!
Really enjoyed meeting you Michael-gotta do it again!!!!!!!!
This is a picture of the Abe Lincoln that Tom Weiss carved.
Nice job!! Another talented guy that I had the pleasure of spending a few days with.
Thanks for comin' Tom!! Call me if you're ever wanderin' the northwoods of Wisconsin!
Here's a group photo although some folks had left.
