Hi all,
This forum, like so many things, will come to an end. I plan to close it on about April 10, so if there are any items, information, minutes, history, and so on that you'd like to save, this would be the time to copy it. I've enjoyed having the forum, and have appreciated your contributions and humor, but the other forums fill the bill admirably, (and we all ought to be carving anyway instead of sitting in front of the computer.)

Thank for the time spent and it probably is time to trim the fat so to say. It isn't any fun when you're expected to baby sit this all the time when you're truly an artist and it takes away from that special time required to carve and reflect on that log standing on the property.

Thank you for the countless hours to keep it running.

I am willing to take any office that needs filled. That is against my policy of NEVER VOLUNTEERING FOR ANYTHING....What does it take to run the forum? Donna said she would help me in my endevors so,,,,Lets Carve,,,,,anything I can do, I'll do....

Just a short story,,,,while I was at Ridgway this year I got a call from Donna and she said that she got a bill for 7 grand for my new leg,,,I told her I would just return the leg with the bill and tell them I cant afford it, but when I got home my Prostisis man told me he wrote it off because he would rather see me walk than get rich off of me....There are some good people out there that arent carvers too....Thanks for listening.....I think he is great!!!Stihl carvin,Jerry

I will sure help by sticking around, it can make you grow weary of it all, this nonsense that gos on...susan has carried the torch for quite stretch,she needs to chill for a while,can we keep the forum susan ,it is still important despite the bullsh#t.....................

The guild will have a forum one way or another, we will figure it all out. Susan has been such an inspiration and I hope the rest of us can carry the torch as well as she did. Thank you Susan for everything you have done for carvers the world over. I look forward to seeing you here or there in the near future!

Jerry, that is GREAT News !! I would hate to see you stuck with only one leg.. Ummm. I mean I got tired of carrying your extra leg around, Umm.. How can I put this ? Two is better than one ?? I guess ya can call that old leg a spare ??

You guys are great and I would love to see someone keep this site up and going..

Several people have called me, and it's nice to see by your responses here that there are people who want to keep on keeping on. I'm going to be out of town for a couple of weeks, so I won't do anything until then, and when I get back, we can figure out the details of how to keep this going. Nice to know that Jerry's willing to step up.

Im glad this forum looks like it will live one way or another cause I will have no where else to go when I embarress myself out of the other forum or get banned for a while. More people should post here and more often to ensure its future survival.
