What are you using for hearing protection? Plugs, gum drops, muffs, electronic noise canceling muffs, radio/mp3 muffs?

I've been testing the noisebuster and so far it really is proving to be pretty sweet.

Which retention system?

Over or behind the head design? Behind the head looks like I could wear a hat [important in the desert] but I'd want to be sure they stayed put while working.

I'm using the over the head design. I wear my baseball hat under the headset.

I phoned Irv and bought the Noise Buster over the head model. I was interested to learn that they can be converted to behind the neck model by buying a conversion kit.

I bought the noisebuster at ridgway after trying them. I also wear ear plugs and that really cuts the noise.

NoiseBuster

Right now when you call Irv, if you mention you're a CCSG member you get 10% off plus $15 of the price will go to support the guild.

All the feedback we are hearing so far is all positive. It's so cool how you can still hear people talking when wearing them (without the your music on of course).
