This woman in Puyallup wants to trade cedar logs for carving. She may have emailed everyone she could find but I thought one of Washington's Westside Carvers might be interested in this. See below.

Hi, my two kids and I are buying our first house and are having some cedar trees downed. I was wondering if I could have something carved in one of the stumps -- I would leave it about 12 foot high or so - to be carved. I would like to find someone that would like to barter some of the wood from the trees in exchange for carving me something out of the stump. The trees are coming down on Saturday...I would like to know how high to leave the tree to make the carving possible and easier for the person doing the work. Would you be interested? Or would you know someone that would be?

Please feel free to call 253-278-1111 or email [email protected] with any information, comment or direction you may be able to give me. I appreicate any and all help I can gather.

Have a wonderful day, and thank you for your time in reading this.
