Scaffolding

Over the few years that I have been carving I have seen soooo many carvers with less than safe scaffolding or odd in a way or two....I used what I had at the time,,we use what we use,,,show me some of your precarious scaffolding and I'll see if I can top it,,,No pun intended

I didn't have far to fall and if you know me falling is kind of a pastime for me...stihl carvin,Jerry

This setup lets me get to about 12 feet compfortably

I made these years ago and they have never failed me. 5 foot section. Sets up completely around the stump. I can go as high as 20 feet. Made the platforms from extension ladders with OSB board bolted to they, very light weight yet strong.

I went thru a rental company..they had these and they dont rent many of them out...so i asked to buy some...I bought 2 complete sets with walk boards. guard rails, x brace,and four leveler feet for each for 400$...i love em..30w x 6tall x 7 foot long...with the levelers i can get an extra 7 in height. with extra planks it makes it great to go all the way around the stump..
