Don't give up hope. You are fairly young, so you have age on your side. My opinion would be to seek another opinion, or maybe a third. This experience is tough, but you must not let it overtake your life. Keep visiting these forums if you feel it helps. I think its wonderful that you've decided to seek out counseling. Good luck.
