I'm on a CEtrotide cycle, 450 units of Gonal F per day. My E2 levels started out really low -- 64 on CD6 (thought I was going to be cancelled) but we went to 154 on CD8. Follie counts looked hopeless initially but ...
Just had another scan this morning (after 8 days of stims) and we have 16, 16, 13, 9 (L) and nothing worth talking about on the right (maybe a 10?). So psyched about having three follies in the running, as we had 13, 13, 8, 6 (L) and 6 (R) two days ago, so I thought the littlies were too far behind to catch up.
So, all going well (two more days of stims and then another scan the day after tomorrow), we will actually be going to retrieval. I can't believe it! I went for acu yesterday, so maybe that helped!
I know it's not a great cycle by any stretch of the imagination, but after getting cancelled for virtually NO response in July I am just thrilled to make it this far. Our clinic says if we can get two embies to transfer (and around here you have to fight hard to get more), odds of success for a woman my age are about 25%.
Thanks for asking,
Kiwichick
