New to High FSH

I need some advice or comments. We are TTC #2 for 1 1/2 years.

We have done 3 IUI's. After IUI #2, discovered I have endometriosis. Had laproscopy. Just completed #3 IUI - unsuccessful although my cycle looked very good - - - according to DR.

So, went in last week to start cycle #4. Had an FSH of 21. But, I also had 9 follicles. So, taking injections was cancelled due to high FSH.

What does this mean???

Anyone have similar situation?

Is there hope with such a high FSH??? Is IVF the best option for us?

I turn 35 in November.

Baby #1 was conceived naturally and quickly! But, was born at 29 weeks.

A high FSH may means that your ovarian reserve(the number of eggs left in your ovaries)are not as good as before. I believe a normal FSH level (taken at day 3 of cycle) should be below 10. I hope this help. Good luck.
