Huh? No, it won't really make any difference. Think of how short a unaroused vaginal canal is--2, 3, maybe 4 inches. So if a tampon is right up there against your cervix, it's just cutting off maybe an hour or so that the menstrual blood would take to flow down to the opening. But the actual volume and the number of days wouldn't be affected. Besides, unless you are having 7 day periods or something like that, what difference does it make?
It's not too smart to always use tampons too-- there is a suspected connection between tampons, retrograde bleeding, and endometriosis. So give yourself a break and think about using pads, maybe just at night if that's all you can stand.
One day you are going to be damn happy you get periods! |
