I'm so worried but lately my vagina has become quite itchy and swollen and it hurts to urinate too. This is really random but it sometimes feels like something is inside it that is not meant to be there, particularly after intercourse. It really hurts at the start of intercourse, when the penis enters but then it is pretty much fine, though tends to be painful afterwards. I am so worried about what it might be and really dont want to go to the doctor, I have been putting antibacterial cream on and am not having intercourse now untill I know what this is and it has healed, please can you help me.....???!!!!

GO TO THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE ALREADY!! You could have something SERIOUSLY wrong, whether and STD or cancer (NOT trying to scare you...just trying to get the point of going to the dr. across...this is VERY important!) If it is an issue of cost, then go to a sliding-scale clinic...an issue of privacy, then schedule an appointment out of town. JUST GO TO A DOCTOR and STOP putting that cream on it! You are not a doctor to the best of my knowledge and should therefore refrain from any self-diagnosis or treatment!
