Unfortunatly, a large block of that 60 mil is tied up in Larkin and Griffey. Tough to produce from the trainer's room.
The Reds can not compete at 60 mil until they fix the debacle which is the minor league system that has produce no pitcher of any value in 10 years. Sure, we get a few that produce for a few months but who was the last minor leaguer worth a damn over the long haul (Tomko? Not here anymore)
You can't buy good pitching at 60 mil and have anything left over. The only way is like the Oakland A's, the farm system.
