PRESENTS TEAM TOURNAMENT

2ND ANNUAL JERSEY SHORE NATIONAL DUALS

SATURDAY AUGUST 13, 2005
At Holmdel High School, Holmdel, NJ

Because there are teams from the West and South United States who have inquired about the Duals but thought that do to the name (US Eastern Regional)it was only for the US Eastern Region..we are naming the Summer Duals the ...JERSEY SHORE NATIONAL DUALS... eventually we will have teams across the country wrestling here on the Jersey Shore...making it an event where they can come and spend some time hitting Philly, NYC and the Shore...making it a Vacation/Wrestling trip...we are at 32 confirmed teams..we have about 1/2 dozen in the wings..we are closing at 36 this year and the final format will be explained come May 1st...

WRESTLING SATURDAY 9 AM TO 6 PM AND SUNDAY 9 AM TO 2 PM

EVERY TEAM GETS AT LEAST 4 MATCHES

A scholarship of $750.00 is awarded to the winner, a $500.00 scholarship to the runner up, and a $250.00 to the Bronze Medal Team and 4th place.

Entry fee is $500.00. It includes:
Team T-Shirts for 20 wrestlers and 4 coaches, all you can eat full buffet breakfast Saturday morning, Friday weigh-in, all day hospitality room for team coaches, and a pre-tournament clinic by a Division I All-American wrestler.

Last year the Out of State teams took advantage of the beautiful Jenkinson’’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ only 20 minutes from the Hotel. The Hotel is 15 minutes from the High School and 10 minutes from the Beach. It also has an indoor pool. New York City is exactly 1 hour North (Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park)and Historic Philadelphia is 1 hour 15 minutes South. Awards: Team trophy and individual medals to the Winner. Individual medals to Runner-up, 3rd and 4th. Quickest Pin, Most Pins, Lower weight MOW, and Upper Weight MOW.
