Shorts or singlets

I have very recently started in a wrestling club and do not know what the clothing requirement is for the mat. Do I have to wear a singlet or are for example the cinch gear board shorts allowed at a tournament. This is basically college wrestling. I am so new that I am not even sure what style of wrestling it would be. Thanks

Each tournament/practice is different. Some allow the older athletes or those in an open type division to wear shorts and shirts while others will require a singlet..

Most teams will require wrestling shoes, which we have plenty of them in stock ready to ship. We have the new 2008-2009 in stock and ready to ship now.
