I don't think there is a book for the Matrix. I'm not entirely sure, though.
I'm reading Claire and Present Danger by Gillian Roberts right now. It's a nice, light (no thinking) mystery. I've just finished Close To Home by Peter Robinson and The Sniper's Wife by Archer Mayor. Both are pretty good.
