Christianity is a religion and to a degree a tool used to introduce many to God. However, religion is not the way to God but rather Faith. Religion is the opiate of the masses and in times past and to come will do nothing but set brother against brother and nation against nation. The concept of bowing down because one is inclined to as a means to fit the norm will never bring you to God. We all must "work out our own Faith."(Phil 4:12) Whatever denomination, sect, or belief you follow; the basic principal is to love God, allow him to use you wherever you are and no matter what the situation, and trust (or have Faith) in his design for you individually. If he made us all unique then it stands to reason he has set apart a service that only each of us may do with equal importance. Take the Bible for the personalized message it delivers to your heart but keep an open heart to others and the delivery they recieve as well. You may be surprised to find that the Buddist you were attempting to win over to Christ may be the carrier of vital information for your journey to service. Be never biased, always compassionate, and ever willing to learn. The Religion is of no importance to God but rather the intent of your heart. The drug addict and the Sunday school teacher can be one in the same if they have love for God and are willing to follow His lead. Do not persecute others for their beliefs, ways of life, or standards. Rather; be there for them, love them, help them, over and over and over- even when it hurts you. This is the way to God.
