- Hello All! I just wanted to say hello, and that I am so sorry to hear of your struggles. MPBBA was a hard place to survive. Everybody has their own way of moving on, and coping with the loss of innocent teenage years. I know God didn't mean for us to be treated the way we were. Not all of us were criminals, and even the ones who were, did not deserve the treatment they received. I hope each one of you find a way to deal with the hurt, and find a way to live in peace in the future.
Little update about me: I am now 23 years old, and have a 2 year old son. I am a single mom, and I am about to graduate from college. I work at a power-plant, and live in an apartment with my little boy. We are buying our first house in two months. My son is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I would NOT trade him for the world. I am proud to be a single mother. There is nothing in this life I'd rather be doing.
Most of you know that I was kidnapped by my biological father, and placed in MPBBA. My mother found me, and two years later, was able to save me from that awful place. I since, have not spoken to my father. I didn't know him before, and I definitely did not want to know him after that.
But, overall, GOD has been good to me. I am happy with life, and I hope you all find the same happiness in your own way.
I won't preach to you all, but I do ask one thing:
Please don't hold other people's actions against GOD. Just because they put GOD's name on it, doesn't mean that it was GOD. God is LOVE, not pain. |
