I want to be 16 so I can drive. I want a good job so I can start to provide for myself. I want to get a credit card so I can go on eBay and buy Moodies stuff!!! I know adults tell me that I'll miss the days when people took care of me, but sometimes it drives me CRAZY. I'm going to be 15 in August, so I'm getting there...
I know this didn't have a lot to do with the Moodies, but people at various forums talk about buying vintage Moodies albums, concert t-shirts, etc. and I feel left out
You have a powerful command of English for one so young! It's true that, once you start earning your own money, you are always broke. Moody Blues stuff will be around for years to come, it's already been there for 35, so there is plenty of time yet! As for having a credit card, they are best avoided, even at my age (21) (well, maybe 22) (well maybe a bit older).
I love this site! I would be VERY sad if it wasn't free...
I may have some money control problems in the beginning...I mean, hey, it's MONEY, you just have to SPEND it! But I'll be okay, I think. (Except when I see all the fun Moodies stuff all over the Internet up for auction...I may relapse and go into a buying binge! Hope I don't spend too much!)
Just as soon as I buy some film for the camera and get my scanner to working.
Hello moodyhemlock!
I enjoyed being 16 too. And, yes I can still remember it, but you know what the perfect age is? It is any age that you are at any moment. Life is so short that I like to savor all the moments of time...all the time.
May all our Hopes, Wishes, and Dreams come true...
Lots of times of being a teenager is rotten; but what's worse is after you're no longer a teenager and
you're THAT a whole lot longer. The best way to live no matter what your age, is to make the very most out
of THIS day. Do you realize you could master anything
you wanted to if just picked up something you really like to do and work at it evey day? And I ask God to
help me to do it. Loads of love to you, young friend.
