Moraz,Moodies,YES petition

A little background on why I've started this online petition. A few weeks ago I
read some comments from Bob Bradshaw (aka Pbaub) at the "Higher & Higher" chat
forum regarding an upcoming YES-MOODY BLUES joint tour scheduled sometime in
2005. When I read about this news, I contacted Patrick Moraz's publicist Brian
Kelleher and passed it along to him. I felt that if a tour like this were to
take place, it would be all the more interesting if Patrick Moraz could somehow
get involved since he has worked with both bands. Truth be told, the Moody
Blues have been pretty much on life support and haven't had a hit record or
song since Patrick's departure from the group. While I understand there is no
love lost between both sides since the Court tv debacle, I think it would be to
the Moodies benefit if they would try to work their problems out with Moraz,
and vice versa.
Anyway, I contacted some people on the Moodies side of the fence about all of
this, and I eventually heard back from Kristian Lodge, who is the son of Moody
Blues bassist John Lodge. I explained to him that I had been discussing with
Patrick's publicist about how I thought the re-emergence of Moraz would
heighten interest for this YES-MOODIES concert tour, and Mr. Lodge responded
that he would forward the idea to Moody Blues management for consideration. I
also forwarded the email address of Patrick's publicist Brian Kelleher to Lodge
so that MB management would know who to contact directly if they are interested
in Patrick's availability for these joint MoodyBlues-YES shows. I think the
fact that this has been actually forwarded by Mr. Lodge to Moody Blues
management is an interesting development as it seems that perhaps some on the
Moodies side might be willing to put aside their problems with Patrick if it
means they can make some extra $$$$$$ out of this tour. It is very much a long
shot that it would ever happen, but a slight probability is there.
That is why I have set up a petition which I plan to also have forwarded to
Moody Blues managment. It gives fans who would like to see such a show, a show
which would include Moraz, a chance to "sign on". Unfortunately, a few people
have spammed the petition with some sorry stuff, but please ignore the
buffoonery and sign the petition if you agree with it.
thank you,
Ty Steel
