Swollen Jaw

What is it with John Lodge's jaw?
It looks....swollen.
Is it a birth defect? Did he have a surgery?
What? I've seen other pictures from when he was a teen,and it still looks a little swollen.[I still think he's cute! ]
But it just looks bumpy,too.
I don't think it's from age.Like I said,he looks like he's had these bumps since he was a teen,or those young ages.
No,I'm not seeking "privet information" about him,I'm just wondering,because in most pics I've noticed this.
