umm. ok.
->he has many others that utilize the english language (milkman comes to mind).
->now what i think i meant to say is that many of his works are straight melodies...no beats. straight up orchestra'l-ish-acid-ish-etc.etc.etc. often times when he remixes his own work, as well as other artists, it doesn't even sound like anything like the song being remixed. that is what that the sadiya remix reminded me of. he is the pioneer of the experimental/noice techno-garb.
the real pioneers where stockhausen in the 50s,
and all those early electroacoustic music pioneers with their test tone generators and tape loops and bleep bleep.
the beatles were the first to make pure sound-on-sound compositions mainstream (revolution #9).
the king of the heavily processed anti-remix is merzbow. hes been churning out crud since 1980.
listen to his tracks 'tony williams deathspace' any track off of the cd flying testicle, or any track off of the cd rectal anarchy.
also listen to hatanarash or early material by the boredoms. they would record a guitar loop on a tape player and then jam live to it and stop it and start it and mix other loops in to create new songs.
im not saying aphex twin isnt good, im just saying there are other more accurate sounds to compare my remix too.
you guys are nerds....hehehh....aphex twin sucks, now dj keoki.. thats where it's at...hm.. jk... but i wish i had something to post on such an exceptional post...
