I've got a teenager in the house!.....

Yesterday was Amanda's 13th birthday. Unfortunately the poor kid had to spend the day at the hospital - we had a checkup with the rheumatologist that went WAYYYYY long. But we took her to Ikea for lunch and some shopping! I can't believe how much she's grown over the last couple of years. She's got quite the cute little figure on her - much to her father's dismay. And she's so mature. Plus she shows me everyday the true meaning of courage!! I can't believe the joy she's brought to our lives, even amidst all the dr's appts and hospital visits. She does it all with such grace.
