to the board. I know it sounds scary & tears are always close especially when a flare occurs. My dd has been on Mtx for 2 years. The naprosyn was causing lots of side effects. Headaches, upset stomach. I was terrified when the Dr. suggested the Mtx but it seems to work better than the naprosyn. If it helps keeping the horrible desease at bay then all the better.
I know no-one other that the parents of the children affected with arthritis actually "get it". It isn't something that you can see for the most part and all the problems than can go along with it. Thats what makes this board so great.
