My 7 year old daughter was just diagnosed almost 1 month ago now. She has had pain in multiple joints for almost 2 years and 2 doctor's did RH factor's on her about 6mos ago and 1 yr ago. Both of which said since they were negative she didnt have the disease. Once I finally had enough switched drs and took her to Ortho who sent us on to Rheumatology at Cincinnat Children's. The rheumatologist quickly said even though the RH factor was negative doesn't mean she doesn't have the disease. He said the children that do have a negative blood test usually have a better outcome. My daughter has Polyarticular and it is in her wrists, fingers, hands, knees, hips, ankles, neck and jaw. So it is unlikely that she will go into remission anytime soon but, we are positive about her prognosis and the fact that her bloodwork was negative. Good luck with your daughter.
