We had an appt with the local opthamologist and Amanda's pressure is still up to 32. So looks like we're looking at surgery. The local guy was gonna send an email to the pediatric opthamologist and see if we can get in to see him next week. If not, Amanda is old enough that she could be seen by a regular glaucoma specialist, not necessarily a pediatric one. We know the ped. one pretty well - he did Amanda's two other surgeries and he's very nice. But, right now, I'll take for getting her in as quickly as we can wherever we can. The local guy says he knows a specialist that's out of town but he trusts him so that's good enough for me. I'm hoping they're gonna do it before school starts so she can recuperate before heading back to school. And I'm guessing they're going to try to get her in as quickly as they can since it's been high for about 6 weeks.
