Today I saw an ad in IBD by a guy named Don Fishback. He wants $100 for his video and book that describes his ODDS system of trading options. He claims that for a few minutes once a week you can pick consistently profitable trades and bring in cash week after week.
Whenever I read something like this I think, "If this system is so good, why would he tell me about it?" But something about the wording makes me think that at least some of what he's talking about is real: money management, taking high likelihood of profit trades, etc. It occured to me that whatever he knows, those of you who do a lot of options trading know too.
I'm part way through McMillan's Options As A Strategic Investment which is quite a read, but I figured you guys are still way ahead of me.
So if anyone knows anything worthwhile about this system I'd like to hear about it.

I was waiting to respond just in case someone was familiar with the system that you're asking about. I have heard of Don Fishback but I don't know anything good or bad about him. I did go to his website and I was struck by this statement...

"His ODDS system identified historical test results with a phenomenal winning 98.3% winning record over a three-year period."

That I'll assure you is not going to happen.

I'm impressed that you are reading that book from cover to cover. I purchased the book earlier this year and have only read a few chapters on subjects I wanted more info on (LEAPS, selling puts, etc.)
