Do gold/precious metals index ETFs exist? If so what are there names and who markets them? I can't seem to find info on them anywhere. Any help would be great.

We have been waiting for quite a while for a U.S. ETF for gold. But bureaucratic issues have held it up. However, London has one up and running. Here are a couple of links that should get you up to speed with what is going on with Gold ETF's.
