Can anyone tell me if they've been able to download an MP3 file from the web sight? I can listen to the real audio, but I'd like to have the file to listen to when I'm away from my computer.

Yeah I downloaded them about 12pm central, and they worked as mp3. And I just tried again and they worked, seemed to download slower than normal, but that may just be on my end.

right click on the "mp3" link and choose save target as...

and then put it somewhere on your hard drive (desktop for me)...

at this point you can burn it to a CDROM to listen to during your daily commute on Monday morning, or transfer it over to an MP3 player to listen to on the treadmill at the gym.

That is what I do. I really have no time to just sit and listen, maybe one day !

I've noticed that the mp3 link saves the file as .mpg on my hard drive so just rename it to mp3 if your player doesnt recognize it.

Thanks,
That was a problem that kept me puzzled for a while. I notice the link is off Larry's page. Larry, was there a problem with FSN?

Howard,

I don’t always have a link to the Financial Sense Newshour on the home page. I only put one there when I’ve listened to the broadcast and I think it’s particularly good, especially the second hour interview. I haven’t listened to the current one. I pretty much know what the gold bulls are going to say. But I’ll probably listen anyway.
