I listened to Jim Puplava's second hour interview today with a former asst secretary of HUD, who states quite clearly that Gary's view of government manipulation of equity markets is right on the money (no pun intended). She further postulates on the basis of her knowledge while in the government that the money generated from this fraud goes to fund the secret black ops that the government doesn't want to openly fund. I'm a novice here. I'd really like to hear some feedback from you all who listen to this interview.

I've been listening to the interview today. It's quite interesting. I know some of us believe the markets are manipulated and some reason that its illegal and consequently aren't. However our government went to war with Iraq without any really evidence of WMD and against the desires of most of the UN nations, it will end up costing us untold billions and countless lives on both sides (many civilian). I wonder does the legality of manipulating the markets really matter to these people. I do believe however that intervention will ultimatly just make the end game all that more ugly. If Uncle Sam is trying to control the markets he appears to be losing the game.
