It looks like the commercials slammed back down on the metal shorts this week Wasn't it Tuesday when gold took a big hit? However they did reduced their short position down to -8000 on oil. Other than the big hit on Exxon at the close on Friday the oil stocks look pretty good despite declining oil prices. Maybe the big boys know something about the oil supply we don't

Hey Joe,
How did you like the way I manipulated the markets lower the last 2 days...

Joe,
I'd like to let everyone know before I make my move but it would just take away all the exitement. I don't think I can be responsible for depriving everyone of that. But you can rest assured that when I do influence the markets it will be at a "measured pace".

Greenspan/Gary

July 5 2004, 2:35 AM

Howard, did you ever consider the fact that Gary is never present when Greenspan is making an appearance?

They use the same terminology.

Their names both begin with a "G".

They both move the market.

Hmmm.
