SharpCharts2 Beta 5

For you StockChart subscribers, I noticed that the new version is available. Just playing with it, I also noticed that it has the capability of doing something that I've always found lacking with StockCharts. You can go way further back in time than you used to be able to.

In fact, so far I've been able to get a chart on the Dow going back to 1910. Maybe it even goes further back than that. I don't know because I haven't tried.

This is a big deal to me. Before, if I was testing something for the COT, for example, I would start in 1986 with Big Charts. And then I'd switch to StockCharts when I got up to 1990. The limitation of that for me was that there were certain indicatiors that I use that Big Charts didn't have. For example, a 5-day RSI.

I'm looking forward to seeing what I can come up with using the capabilities of this new version.

Thanks for the heads up Larry. I'll be trying it out. That's always been an annoyance for me in back testing because as you know I'm obsessed with crashes and other rare but massive events.
