Larry,
Why not TAP, it signaled two days in a row. And why not PDCO. Wanting to learn your thinking on picking these signals.

Howard,

For some reason TAP isn't on my list. I'm using Stock Chart's "S&P Large Caps" list. I don't know why it was left out. I just missed PDCO. I was in a hurry and I overlooked it.

There is no rhyme and reason to my thinking right now. I'm just guessing. When there are a lot of trades completed I'll do an analysis and see if I can figure out what the best ones and the worst ones have in common. But that's going to be awhile.

Larry,
TAP closed up but still below the lower bb. I'm not taking it because I don't know what happens in a setup like this. But soon I'll have one example. It's either a good signal for this system or the extent to which it will rise I think,

I think LH qualifies as a B/B buy this morning also.

Larry,
Do you think there would be any advantage to showing preference to stocks that are above their 200 or 50 DMA when selecting for Bollinger Band reversals?

Gary,

Yes, that's one of the possibilities that I've been considering. Another is to choose the ones that are the most oversold. I just don't know yet.

I have a list of about 20 for tomorrow. I'm not going to post them all because I don't want to post too many for one day. I'm thinking about posting the ones that are the most oversold. Another day I may post the ones that are above their 50 and/or 200 day moving averages.

It also may make sense to choose the ones that are the most volatile according to an ATR measurement or something.

In case anybody's wondering, I had 19 on my list this morning. I choose the seven that were below 25 on a 5-day RSI. Don't ask me why, I'm just guessing.
