Apart from the times my Sports Illustrated comes a day late, there are few things for me to fret over in what has become a provincial life.
When "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" was nowhere to be found at the Springfield Best Buy today, that changed.
The movie was to be part of my sister's birthday gift. We have such a rapport with "Wonka" that she called me Sunday night to say it was airing on ABC Family.
But still, she doesn't own it.
She will, over my dead body, even if I have to travel to the ends of central Illinois before my Memorial Day weekend visit. Shame on Best Buy, though. "Wonka" should be sold wherever videos are.
It's a stone cold classic. |
