CHESS ANYONE?
Come and match wits with other enthusiastic chess buffs! The shul will hold its ninth annual chess tournament on Sunday Mar 20.
Registration is scheduled for 9:315to 9:45 AM. Adults and children of all ages are welcome. Trophy prizes will be awarded for the two top scoring adults and two top scoring junior division players (under age 12)
Light refreshments will be available (participants should not bring food into the shul). Suggested donation is $10 per participant. Participants should bring boards, chess sets, and chess clocks.
The tournament will be under the direction of Mr. Steven Frymer, former president of the Massachusetts Chess Association assisted by Nachman Kalyuzhny.
