Father & Son outdoor Volleyball game
every Sunday 10:00 - 11:30AM Cleveland
Circle. Great exercise (see comparative
analysis below). No experience
necessary, ages 10 and up. We play in
the large field - you can't miss us.
A new game starts every 15-20 mins. so
you can come and leave at your
convenience. Also, we adjust the court
size to accommodate the number of
people who show up, so there is never
too many people. We do NOT however, adjust
the size of the box of donuts, so come
sooner than later!
Virtues of Volleyball
a)Your always an active participant. Every minute you
get your hand on the ball. Baseball on the other hand
has long periods where you do nothing and even when the
action comes your way it tends to be very much a hit
or miss opportunity.
b)Very low impact sport unlike football where you are
pounding into other people
c)You run and jump in short spurts unlike basketball
or soccer where you need to be something close to a
marathon runner to keep up.
d)Where else in the Boston area are you going to get free
Kosher donuts and soda just for playing a game? Many
people are of the opinion that this alone is reason enough to
participate!
e)Even if you speak none of the following languages: English,
French, German, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, etc.
we will still take you in and treat you like one of us. (We
can teach you the rules without any language!) (How such a
person would be reading something like this in the first
place is another issue.) In most other sports language is a
common denominator used in defining the "old boys club"
and whether or not you fit in. Here there is no "old boys club".
f)The list of virtues goes on and on but instead of wasting
your precious time reading about it, jump in for the time
of your life! Come on over and join the fun! We are a
friendly bunch. We will treat you nicely and make sure
you have a good time. You'll go home with a smile on your
face, a song in your heart, music in the ears, (donuts in
the stomach) etc. etc. The thought of it alone can be mesmerizing.
Can you think of a nicer way to start the day? Take care and hope

P.S. Even if after all this you’re still not interested, maybe you know
someone who would be interested? Be a friend and
tell a friend. After all, how often does it happen that
you get a chance to steer your friend to free donuts?
Who knows? with a hot tip like this you can possibly cement
that friendship forever or, after what seems like an eternity FINALLY get your guy to pop the question you’ve been waiting sooo long to hear, or ... (here is where your imagination comes in), but the possibilities are unlimited!
