Unfathomable; a poets moment of blurred understanding of her own mind...

I couldn't climb the walls, the gates
But somehow I reached a point
The top of a hill, overlooking the scrambled
Followers like hyeenas,
Never stopping to think of those they thought they were trying to reach
Trampling all over an incomplete tapestry of poetry
Soiling the embroidery with selfish thoughts
Messages of so-called love, when they're really blackening the forum.
All the true lovers really want
Is to stand and observe the beautiful anthology
The Anthology of the Albion, continued, and given the chance, not dirty those pages
And weave chaos amongst those paintings of the mind and soul
Hoping not a trace of this riot is left
When the fun is over
We'll still have to clear up.

I understood it when i was writing it...but to me the concept is lost, like a dream in the morning, grasping the final strands before it disappears into incomprehensible nothingness

and yet the incomprehension makes sense to me... reminds me of an echo of it I wrote a while ago but which, like most echoes, faded into a blurred reality I fight not to touch..

I liked it...
Alot..
and it does make sense..

You think chaos is a bad thing??

November 17 2004, 5:52 PM

So you think chaos is a bad thing???
Chaos is what makes life exciting and everchanging! And reminds some of us that there are infinite possibilities and unfathomable realities.....Forget your pretentions and predjudices and go with the chaos you'll feel better for it and that pole may come unstuck! x

christ, why does it always read like a bad dungeons and dragons spell, these poems.

*roll twelve to cast spell and leave arcady and never have to read another bad poem again*

That, my friend...

says more of you than myself i think. I agree, I love the romanticism of chaotic agression of london, but on babyshambles is a delicate and formerly untouchable place, and the gates have been breached and all of us let in. I can see both sides, but my opinion remains where it was.

I hate elitism but love babyshambles....

November 17 2004, 6:15 PM

I think the right thing has been done, and its temporary so where's the harm?! Mebbe i'm just a right old commy but i hate elitism and i think this open forum idea has brought more sour opinionites than the less literate love declairing fans they're complaining about! there's so much bitching and hypocracy. Let everyone have their say....at least for a few hours! xx

Truth

November 17 2004, 6:20 PM

It is true
but what is done is done

I liked this poetry, it stirred something inside
A whisper of recognition, a mutual emotion, fluttered in my mind before it ceased and I was left feeling lost and empty.

What is it in that beautiful piece that caused this?

The chaos is terrible, but the damage is fixable.
