Response to Natural Ends are Uneven -Should I Cut?

I always tell myself when I reach my goal, I will trim. Of course, I have trimmed BEFORE I reached my goal as well. I think that ends that are fuller tend to look better. Sometimes they even give a longer look, simply because it like one long line, not a dotted line. The others advice about slow trimming is good. Take it off a bit at a time. I think as Martine said, two trims would be best. I don't think an inch would show you much, but 2- 2-1/2 inches would show you some improvement, and could help you see what getting the thinned out ends off would do for your look. I think healthy hair is a big part of long hair, and it looks like you have really strived for healthy locks. I think the trim will show off how healthy your hair actually is.

Of course since it's not my hair, it's easy to give you this advice. You have to make the choice for yourself since you are the one wearing your hair!
