A couple years ago the person who trims my hair was out of town, so I went to my husband's (former) barber, who works in the same shop. He's scissors happy -- no, make that shears happy. He just loves to cut and cut and cut...SHORT! He also uses the electric shears most of the time, and I think he was unfamiliar with my length hair and using scissors. He took off quite a bit more than I wanted, and it was
uneven to boot!

Everyone in the shop had said he'd be a perfectly fine alternative to my regular gal. He wasn't. I ended up having to go back to get "evened up" a few weeks later when she returned. Never again....
Glad your story had such a happy ending -- and a freebie, too!! Luck must just follow TBear (the one and only ORIGINAL, TBear, that is!).
By the way, I now cut my husband's hair myself. We bought our own electric shears and ended up saving a bundle of money and having the freedom to trim his buzz-length hair whenever we like (I just did it this morning, in fact!). Now, if I could only get him to give me a good tip (like a yummy back rub or scalp massage...)!
