I have been dusting my hair (just snipping off any splits I find) since January, and usually, I'd be finding some by now. I'm not!! :))) I'm sure I'll probably get some at some point, but this CWC is just great and just the thing for my hair...for yours too, apparently! Well great!
I am using pretty inexpensive conditioners. I've been rotating back and forth between Suave Moisturizing Conditioner and Alberto VO5 Split Ends Conditioner and Herbal Essences Intensive Blends Conditioning Balm.
It just seems that there must be the ultimate way to care for your hair as it grows so you experience zero splits...we just have to keep experimenting till we find it. I hardly ever brush any more since I think the BBB was causing some damage little by little each time I used it. I only use a wide tooth comb now, and only comb when absolutely necessary so as not to be over handling the hair.
I haven't roller set yet as I don't have any rollers or a hooded hair dryer. I would like to get both. If I understand this correctly, you get large brush rollers and remove those brush things from them. Do you use any kind of setting lotion or anything? Or is it enough to just set when wet?
I want to get a lose hooded hairdryer, I was wondering if they sell them at Walmart. I have no idea. If I can't find one, I'm going to try eBay.
Doing any quiltig lately? I made 5 quilts in the past 12 months. Now I'm knitting. LOL!! I designed my own Nordic sweaters, and now I'm knitting them up. The one I'm working on right now is all in black and white...not totally pure white but an Aran white, if you know what I mean. It's all snowflakes and blossoms, and I think that's what I'll name it: Snowflakes and Blossoms.

I'm working the body of the sweater on circular needles from the waist line up to the underarm area. VERY pretty, if I must say so myself.
Have you seen Karen Marie's auctions on eBay? If you like to garden, you have to see these. What a gorgeous website she creates!! She's a pretty talented girl!
I have to run off to my physical therapy in a little while, so if you post back to me, I'll get it late afternoon.
Take care!
Olympia
